You need two - one for parts.

My contractor was unhappy. He built a narrow barn door, so happy he only had to install a bottom track. As the purchase came with two rails it was able to take the parts - needed screws/springs from one to use on the other as they didn't work. Other than that, once installed, the manual works well and looks good.
