This is exactly what I do for the course I am doing about painting paintings with different colors of cut and polished stone carvings (marquetry), as well as for my hobby of working with simple drawings , needed stained glass and solder. They hold the project well enough until it's finished and soldered or glued. They are durable and can be used over and over again. I gave a few to a friend in class and she loves the durability and reusability.
