golden tip? for column mounts

I wanted to make this a pin for the Central Pacific/Union Pacific merger at Promontory Point, Utah. I dyed them gold and put them on a pin as a souvenir of some event. They worked great.

Useful for handicrafts β€” Glued nails

They are easy to use for various handicrafts such as heart necklaces and rings. Note that they have very sharp ends that need to be ground down and some burrs on the edges. Also note that they form tiny rings unless you solder two together or modify them in some way. I don't know if they are suitable for shoeing horses.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Without automatic

Ideal for stained glass work AND for stone/gemstone inlay projects.

This is exactly what I do for the course I am doing about painting paintings with different colors of cut and polished stone carvings (marquetry), as well as for my hobby of working with simple drawings , needed stained glass and solder. They hold the project well enough until it's finished and soldered or glued. They are durable and can be used over and over again. I gave a few to a friend in class and she loves the durability and reusability.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

I'm sure some horses are happy I hooked them up so they can walk without shoes. Me, I'm lucky enough to have this. Stained glass shops charge too much for them and are hard to find at Farm and Fleet or other farm shops these days. I think horses should also shop at Revain to keep up with the latest fashion trends. For…
