Review on Extend Your Network With RJ45 Extender: 2 In 2 Out Adapter For Single CAT5/CAT6 Ethernet Cable (1 Pair Use) by Cliff Gibs

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The splitter works, but.,. read.

I have received my RJ45 just today and was having issues with it.When I first connected to the RJ45 splitter, the splitter works on my flexbox with my Comcast internet. But what I have founded out was that my network was not working for my PC. After that, I began to test cat 5/6 to see what was the troubleshoot and was having troubles with the connection, even attempted to do some CMD (Command Prompt) which did not work. I even tested out other devices with the splitter and was able to access the network. I managed to figure out what was the issues and how it to make them work. For those that have brought the RJ45 splitter or will purchase one, I hope they read this first. I encourage those that will purchase this device please switch the CAT 5/6 cable with the splitters, also unplugging and replugging it back will help it to work right. The splitter will work once it is plugged incorrectly. I hope this will help those that are having issues out and Google does not have an answer to this troubleshoot either.I gave this 4/5 because there are no instructions on how to use the RJ45 splitter. It is simple to use just by switching the cat 5/6 around the splitter that you are using.

Pros
  • The RJ45 Extender provides great flexibility, allowing you to extend your network to a separate room or office using a single CAT5/CAT6 Ethernet cable. This means that you can connect multiple devices without needing to install additional cables
Cons
  • Higher Latency: The use of an RJ45 extender can lead to an increase in latency, resulting in slower connection speeds and higher ping times
