Four stars because I rarely give five to anything. Uncovered several old cable repairs with faulty sticky dirty tape. He removed the old tape, wiped the surface of the cord with mineral spirits, and then rubbed alcohol. Three different sizes of tubing were used on three different projects, from a small engine repair to a large 12 gauge 3 wire cable. The tube formed quickly and formed a tough, watertight repair in all three cases. And for the life of me I can't understand the customer comments about the lack of glue. All of my repairs have had more than enough glue leaking out of the ends of the pipes. It just takes a good amount of heat to emulsify the glue enough for it to flow. On one of the repairs I had to pick up the phone to set up a solder repair. The xacto knife made the work easier - simply cut open the longitudinal seam and simply pull off. Simply better than duct tape (if possible). I'm new to this stuff going forward. Overall it's cleaner, faster, more waterproof and much more durable. And my wife gave me high marks for a more professional look.
