The first time I used this little machine everything was fine, the battery is only 12V, and my machine required 2 batteries. But the second time I used it, it stopped working after polishing 2 passenger doors. The batteries get hot and drained so quickly that I charged them back to full but it didn't work. Then after checking the battery contacts I found that the plastic around one of the battery contacts started to melt, see picture. The battery contacts inside the machine are poorly designed, the piece of metal has no support and seems to change position under pressure as the battery is pushed in. Improper contact with the battery can generate heat, melting the plastic material. The battery contacts when charging the battery have a much better design, they have a support, so there is no change in stroke or position, they keep close contact with the battery contacts during charging. The machine must have the same battery contact design as the charger. It's not worth the $110 cost and unfortunately I can't return it as the return window is now closed. I do not recommend this car.
