I was looking for a replacement for my Netgear N600, which I deleted after 10 years of brave service. This router lived up to the reputation and reviews of the TP-Link brand. I deduct 1 star for the flashing that resets the password after I threw away the paper with the factory settings. Benefits1. Super easy setup. Had it up and running in less than 10 minutes.2. Android app (Tether) is a great interface for monitoring the network and changing settings.3. The 2G range is amazing. Covers my entire 3 story house. 5G covers 2 floors.4. 300Mbps on 5g and 90Mbps on 2g.5. Easy to configure to expand with the NETGEAR AC750 Wi-Fi Range Extender (to connect 5G to my TV). Cons 1. Weak antennas that fall off at the slightest touch.2. The aforementioned firmware update. Make sure you get your online TP-Link ID *before* you update the firmware.3. No network storage. To be honest, this feature is not advertised.
