Review on CarPlay Wireless Adapter Original 2018 2021 by Tyler Kota

This device has a wonderful feature that allows you to stream YouTube to your car's screen and speakers. As I usually wait in the car while my wife does her shopping, this is a great feature. But here's what's bad: 1) Activation takes 30 seconds. OK, I can live with that. It's consistent and really connects. 2) You can't just go back to the car's built-in audio system, play it, and then switch back to CarPlay for features like Waze. And when you switch back, it takes another 30 seconds to connect. 3) When you start Waze, Phone, Messages, Work. Apple Music only works for downloaded songs. It won't connect to Apple Music. It will not connect to the Sirius/XM app and will not connect to YouTube Music. When you enable HotSpot on your phone, it connects and plays with a lot of lag and unpredictability. Waze stops working about a third of the time. 4) I leave the device in case I want to watch YouTube in the parking lot. However, a different CarPlay device is used the rest of the time. Hopefully this can be fixed in a future update. But at the moment I'm not very happy with it.
