Review on ๐Ÿ“ฑ Hapurs Anti-Slip Silicone Protective Case with Wrist Strap and Lanyard for Apple TV 4th Generation Siri Remote Controller by Krista Johnson

There are two, both fit. BUT it needs a small mod needed to work great.

There are two, both fit. A small mod had to work. The AppleTV remote is a very sensitive device no matter how you use it. When you add this slipcover, it's less likely to slip out of your hands, slide off your armrest, slide off your bed sheet behind your headboard (trust me, it's gotten lost behind the bed more than once). My only complaint is that the case obscures much of the touch surface too much, often effectively disabling the external press function required for FF/RW at 10-second intervals on most streaming services. AppleTV streamers may have experienced this before: you either lift the silicone with your thumb to use the edge, or when you push through the silicone you invariably hit the entire touch surface like a button press. After using this product in the kitchen and as a sleeper remote for about a month, I finally got out my scissors and cut off the silicone sections covering the side of the touch surface. Viola! Can easily use the edge function of the remote control without pressing any button or moving the silicone. (See photos). This is a change that the manufacturer should consider in the future as more applications use side touch surface pressing as a remote control function in their application. weight on the remote to balance it properly in your hand. Cons: Dust collector, needs a mod on the sides for the remote to work properly.
