This is the best sieve I've ever had. I'm an intermediate home cook and have been through many poor quality strainers. Some merge too slowly or not fully. Some with vertical walls will crowd whatever you put inside (especially annoying if you're washing veggies from the garden). some with holes too big to drain orzo or rice. He has none of these flaws. If there's a downside, it's that it can be dented. However, this does not affect the functionality. If you care so much about how something looks and not how it works, I suggest therapy.
