Not good for checking IDs.
So I bought this item to check ids. Well it did it’s job but no really. It brought up all the special feat like it was suppose. But for the Washington IDs, it’s suppose to show a green state seal under UV light. With this one came out white. But with a streamlight uv pen, it show green. Same with password. Some passports show an image embedded in the documents under uv light. Well this one did. So if you looking for a UV light for scorpions and pet urine, this works great. But for id purposes, I won’t recommend this light.
