Honestly this is a good product. I tried an active dual link display port on DVI-D and it was terrible. Unreliable at best, and syncing has been disabled. I tried two DVI-D monitors with 3D Vision at 120Hz and 144Hz and both worked fine. I will say that initially the monitor takes more time to "sync/set up" but once it has stabilized it works great. So I would set up the 3D Fix Manager to start non-3D stereo and then turn it on manually. It was better. I hope this is good news for gamers who like to play at 100+ Hz and/or use 3D Vision. Oops, I almost forgot that the USB-powered Displayport solution also did something weird with colors and black levels? It's hard to explain, but I haven't noticed any loss in quality with this product.
