I bought two of these lights hoping to replace some of the outdated lights in my son's room. I checked all the details and these tubes should have worked with the amps I used MUCH less power with. As a side note I have replaced many lightbulbs in 3 different houses including bulbs, fans, switches and sockets. I'm pretty confident in my abilities. I installed these lights like all the others, made sure my connections were secure, mounted them to the wall, and turned the power back on. The light wouldn't come on and when I flipped the switch I smelled some sort of smell and realized the problem was just the smell. I turned off the power, removed it from the wall and found that the board was burned and even the cover had come off. I didn't even want to install the second one. I sent both back and will not buy again.
