I just got my first apartment and was dying to have crushed ice in my drinks. These are my first ice cube trays I've ever bought and I think they work great! I was nervous about the COVID panic and I wasn't sure where they were being sent but it took about 3 weeks for them to get to me anyway so everything should be fine no matter what. I also washed and disinfected them before use. They have a specific smell, but it's not that bad. Washing didn't make it go away, just so you all know, but I have a feeling it started even after use. It doesn't make as much ice cream as I'd like, even with 3 full trays, but for the price I'm not crazy about buying more. Also, it freezes pretty quick, you know. As for the difficulty of extracting them, in my experience it's not as difficult as these reviews make it seem. It takes a little more patience, but ice cubes come out easily for me. I took a suggestion from one of those reviews and put the ice cream in a different freezer container. I have to push some of these out but I really haven't had any problems. Watching ice cubes pop out of the tray's small hole is a little relaxing. The cubes come out very clean sometimes too, which is pretty cool.
