Charges at least twice as fast as a standard charger - I think even faster. I like the weight of the charger; Knowing almost nothing about electrical engineering, I'm just confident in its considerable weight. A few tips: - Do not mix or match with other cables; You need an Eleckey plug and a matching Eleckey cable for fast charging. - On what I have, one USB port is for fast charging and the other (blue light) is for standard charging. (I still expect a blue-lit outlet to charge quickly, but it's not.) This is a great car item because when you're running you're most likely desperate for juice.
