. Found this hose on the internet after realizing which model of Dyson I had Pictures on the internet I have had this vacuum for many years and never had a problem until I found a hole in the hose. I ordered this replacement and it arrived quickly and looked just like the original, but I had some difficulties. The part that attaches to the bottom of the vacuum cleaner didn't snap into place, it pulls out easily. I ended up having to use my pocket knife on some plastic latches and push really hard to attach it but it eventually clicked in place including picture after it is attached the latch is the thin part towards the center. When I started using the nozzle on the other end of the new hose for some small jobs I found that the factory nozzle didn't go in as easily as it used to, in fact upon inspection I found I wasn't squeezing hard enough and than I attached it, I thought that I will not withdraw it, attached two photos. At my age, such a force is difficult for a vacuum part.
