Columbia never seems to disappoint - their clothes are made with care and thought of everything from the type of material to the yarn used. 100% polyester with all-around reflective lining to keep you warm! Machine Wash - I wash cold with Original Tide Powder and have had no problems Zipper - Good size plastic zipper. It's not waterproof - so don't wear it in the rain thinking you'll be dry. This is for cool, crisp spring and fall days. This is my son's favorite jacket!
