Not as versatile as described.

I was thrilled to receive this set to accommodate my new kayak but was disappointed to find upon opening the box that the clips for attaching the saddles to your crossbar do not fit if your bar too wide is 1 1/2 inches. My crossbars are pretty standard from what I've seen, and they're 2" wide. I can't find any reference to this measurement requirement anywhere in the description. No time to order a replacement, so I had to run to Cabela to get one Get another set of J-Bars, return them.
