Much luck. for spares

Took me about 20 minutes from start to finish but I also did it 4 times on this 2008 Impala. I probably saved myself a few hundred in auto repair shop salaries. Installation can be a pain, especially if you have large hands. I have a finger grip drive that I used and it made this job a lot easier. I would recommend hunching over the front seats and resting your head against the passenger side floor panel for easier access when installing new seats. 2 are behind the glove box and one under the dashboard on the driver's side, this is the real PITA. About their product: Last time I bought a Dorman for a fraction of the cost and it lasted 3 years so I figured I'd buy the AC Delco. After removing Dorman and comparing the two, they are the same in every way, down to every mark. I would suggest saving a few bucks and getting the cheapest out there. Nowhere on this drive is it identified as AC/Delco or GM. Instead, like the others, it says Made in China. Update 06/18/2021: I really don't feel like it, but here it is again. This part has already failed as I expected. I don't understand what the problem is if this part doesn't hold. I found another brand to try and it looks like the gears are made of a different material. This is my fifth time doing this on the same machine.
