Review on 🧦 White Saltwater Filter Socks - Blue Donuts Aquarium Filter Socks, 200 Micron, 8 Inch Length, 4 Inch Ring, Set of 8 by Michelle Vargas

I bought these for my mixed reef aquarium and am using them in the Emerald 26 swamp. The price is good for the amount of socks you get. I gave them 3 stars just because they have some kind of wax film on them. I hand washed them before use and even tried to remove the waxy substance. Unfortunately, it just doesn't come out of the sock. I think the waxy substance is why these socks clog up after a day. All of my other felt socks (BRS filter socks) last 3 to 4 days before needing to be replaced with clean ones. Changing filter socks every day just isn't worth the little money they saved me. I don't know what the waxy substance is on these socks or why they clog so quickly, but I won't be buying them again.
