Review on GKI GF6037 Fuel Filter by Emanuel Frison

Perfect Fit! I used this on my 1991 Toyota pickup 22RE 2WD. Seems to be very durable and I chose this particular filter because it comes with four copper washers. I've read over and over again that most filters only come with two washers. But for best results you really should use all new washers. If your filter only comes with two, you will need to use two new washers and two old washers. On the 22RE engine, the filter is located just behind the oil filter at the top. It's almost impossible to see. I found that to get to the fuel filter you have to remove the oil filter first. 17mm socket for fuel lines, 12mm socket for mounting bolts. My truck still had the original filter so I was happy to finally be able to replace it before it became a problem. I will keep this serial number and just order and replace this filter in another 30,000 miles!
