Review on Chemical Guys WAC_118_16 Anti Corrosion Protectant by Ken Coste

I'm not very good at remembering all the 'right' things about my car's looks so this product bothered me once every 12 months. I just bought a new Explorer and thought I should remember to wax it once a year so that sounded perfect. Maybe I did something wrong but I don't understand how it has so many 4+ star reviews. If I had written a review about it the first day after using it I probably would have given it 5 stars. It applies easily and I found it was easy to polish by hand as well. The glitter in the metallic paint really came into its own. But a week later, autumn came, our temperature dropped, and an unpleasant white film appeared on the entire surface of my car. I had to wash the car to try and get the haze out. It took several attempts and the haze still lingered on some areas of the car. In addition to haze, there were water stains everywhere. Water stains remain after washing and drying with microfiber towels. It looks horrible. I am thinking of taking it to a professional to have it washed to see if they can remove this stuff. It has been a few years since I waxed my last car and it has never had water stains like this car after using this product. Even after using this product, the handprints on the door edge (from closing the doors) are TERRIBLE. I used to be unable to see handprints at all, now I can see them from a few feet away. If I could return this product, I definitely would. I very much doubt I will be using this product for anything again.
