Purchased heavy rubber all weather floor mats for my JK. They had a cool tread pattern and weren't as slippery as snot when wet. However, nobody offers such a design on JL. The hard plastic (WeartherTech) versions available for JL must come with a visit to an orthopedist. When these things get wet, they become as slippery as possible. They seem to be bridging the gap. Thin like the hard plastic versions but made of softer rubber. Not as smooth but not as good as the old JK mats. Another design flaw is the two-piece "button closure" of the rear mat. It falls apart all the time. Why not make one out of it? A two-piece mat is of no benefit if you have a spill that you want to contain and clean up. In this case, pulling out a piece is just as easy, if not faster.
