The Lenovo Legion 5 with RTX 3050Ti is a great gaming laptop for around $1,000. While the 3050 and 3050Ti are indeed the lower-end GPUs in the RTX 3000 (Mobile) series, they are designed for casual gaming. When it comes to gaming, this laptop offers excellent performance and graphics. Note that many current AAA games won't play at the highest graphics settings compared to a high-end GPU like a 3060, 3070, or 3080. but for the types of games I personally play, the 3050Ti still delivers great performance at an affordable price. The device itself is very well built, it's plastic on the outside but looks solid, the keyboard is good for typing and gaming, the trackpad is fine but using a mouse is preferable, the speakers aren't amazing but sound good not terrible either, the camera is there and all, but at least you get a switch to physically turn it off at any time. The display is excellent, it gets really bright, the refresh rate is 165z and the color accuracy is decent. Temperatures weren't an issue in the games I ran on this device. There are three fan settings to choose from: Quiet, Balanced, and Performance. Even in performance mode, I can barely hear the fans turning on when there's a lot going on on the screen, plus that cooling pad. I seem to have helped a little from "Havit". , is that the keyboard has a numeric keypad, that's more of a subjective taste, but I personally don't use the numeric keypad on any keyboard, and the second nitpick is that this laptop comes standard with 512*GB of memory (more like 475GB if considering how many files the storage systems consume), on the other hand, there is a second SSD slot inside the device, so the amount of storage can be increased in the future. If you couldn't tell, I'm very happy with this laptop so far, especially considering how I went from an AMD A12 laptop with Radeon integrated graphics to a Ryzen 7 5800H with an RTX 3050Ti, for example via the Half of my Steam library is now unlocked and playable!
