Right out of the box I lost the bulb, when I hung up the headlights and turned them on I noticed that one bulb didn't work so I unscrewed it and tightened the bulb again and the socket fell apart in my hands. Looking at the base it reminded me of old street garlands where the base simply "pinched" the cord with two sharp pieces of metal. These simple sockets use two small pieces of brass and unfortunately when mine fell apart I lost one. Oddly enough I tried to see if Revain or the seller (website) had spare sockets since the user manual had a list of parts but of course I didn't see it. The manufacturer's website was provided, but the website actually only showed more bulbs and no sockets. So I'm debating whether to return it or not. Party note, so if you're having trouble with a lightbulb, I would carefully unscrew the lightbulb and insert it into the other base just to make sure it's actually a lightbulb. If it turns out to be the socket jack, carefully remove it again. Then you can see two pieces of metal and if you have any a simple adjustment may be needed to make contact with the bulb and cord.
