Broken display port, ideal for computer accessories and peripherals

. I bought this because my computer is in my room and there is no place to use my eye crack. The cable seemed great at first until it was time to remove it from the Displayport. The hooks releasing it from the port didn't work when I pressed the button. When it finally came out, my displayport stopped working. So now I have a broken cable and a broken display port on my graphics card. Revain said they could replace the cable and sent me to the seller for damages. It's been a week and I haven't received anything from them.
