Review on Bodum Grinder Electronic Continuously Adjustable by Anthony Mayes

Worked well for a $100 grinder while it worked. Fairly consistent grinding and cleaning only required every 2 months although I usually I am using oily dark roast.But eventually the plastic retaining ring holding the top millstone broke.It could not be replaced on the Bodum website.I contacted Bodum customer service (no easy process, no support phone number, email only ).Check the parts page on their website to see when the part would be available (there is no way to delay the order or be notified when the part is available.) I was also told that the inexpensive plastic snap ring was not was sold as a separate detail but you can only buy with the top drill I could not gl Be aware that this is one of the most breakable cheap plastic parts on the product. ct which cost $100 was not available and had to be purchased as part of a more expensive item. Needless to say I was disappointed and will not be buying from this company again. For those of you having the same problem, I ended up repairing the part myself using JB plastic binding and trimming the excess binding to size with a sharp knife and sandpaper. Note: Additional joining material has been added at the break point at the end of the two longitudinal edges where the tolerances are not as critical as on the inside and outside edges.
