Let's start by saying that these floor mats are perfect for our Volvo XC90. However, the 3rd row mats are so small that you can save your money if you don't use the space often. My real complaint, which we cannot resolve, is that the holes in the front floor mats for the car's footpegs, although placed correctly, are the wrong diameter. It looks silly and unfinished in the main zone; and does NOT look like the pictures. I have contacted the seller several times with photos but nothing has been done. I don't know how to upload a picture to show other customers what I'm talking about. But imagine a brown interior with quarter-sized holes in the floor mats and off-center black pins. You need some kind of cap to complete the look and protect the carpet from water. These are the plastic/rubber top versions (as opposed to carpet) that we need on the farm. They fit differently and more than the competition. They are also much stiffer than the 'rubber' competitor models. And to answer the question: yes, they can be removed from the car with liquid, even if they are hard.
