I have a few friends with these trackers and have used them year after year on our annual two week motorcycle trips out west. I also had a friend who used it all over Mexico and South America so of course I had to get my own. Find out what he does and why he does it! The monitoring service is a bit pricey, but there are "free" alternatives once you start researching them. I've used it on several trips, including on a boat that was about 50 miles offshore most of the time, and it tracked us flawlessly throughout the week we were there. I had no issues with the actual performance of the device, and aside from the startup cost, it was worth it.
