They are great for networking projects.

I've used them on several Arduino projects and they work fine. I burned a few of these by connecting them to 5V when moving the prototypes, so be careful.

Pros

They enable two or more Arduinos to communicate with each other wirelessly over a distance.

Cons

Too long to wait.
