. First version was DOE but Revain sent me a replacement. It wasn't my first choice, and it wasn't even my second. My first version was out of print and the second was lost in the mail. I bought it for model paints. In particular, I received G Paints from abroad. They are paint colors and have had a lot of shedding. Mixing them really well worked. There are several comments. The colors take time to blend depending on how bad they are. A new can of paint that you use frequently will probably be perfect in 30-60 seconds. Something starting to wear off? You watch for 3 to 5 minutes. Is it a bad breakup? 5 to 15 minutes (or more). You will know when it's ready. You may need to give your hand a rest. You really have to hold it and it mixes quite a bit. A stirrer (glass or steel ball) in the paint can also help. You have to change the position of the bottle from time to time to mix everything. I've seen people complain that other brands have a sweet spot that you have to find to turn it on. It was easily activated. Just click in the middle. It must not penetrate the opening of the test tubes, but must cover them. The cover can fit in this hole. Another piece of advice I can give is to shake the bottle if you plan on changing positions. I start with the bottom touching the blender and if I turn it upside down or tilt it I just shake the bottle. It often shows me that everything is still decided. In the end I have to give this place 4 stars. Half for the DOE model and half for the cable that comes with the mixer. It is short. For example 16 inches. I would like 2 to 3 meters.
