Great product for those who want to use Linux but don't want to build another computer. The Raspberry Pi 8GB has enough RAM for such a computer, and the Pi 4's improvements over the 3 make it more usable as a desktop computer. I recommend either an official power adapter or a good quality USB-C power adapter. The official one I use is 3 watts and works well. It boots from a USB stick but requires a firmware update. If you wish to do this, see element14's website for more information. Raspberry Pi can be used to run Linux, but I personally use them for Pihole's DNS server to block websites we don't want for kids. Retropie is another use for these devices and it is a fantastic application that I am dedicating one of these devices to. Since it can run Linux, you will find many applications. I've used it for radio, gaming and network file sharing. And I do some geeky stuff, but it's really simple. Since microSD cards are cheap these days, you can swap the operating system back and forth or just replace them if you're not afraid of making a mistake. That's what she's there for, and that's what she's there for. It's a little green circuit board that you connect to your power supply, keyboard and mouse, and microHDMI (look for an adapter or cable as your home may not have one. You'll need an OS on a microSD card and I recommend downloading NOOBS and burn it to a 32gb microsd card pi to build most cases especially the standard so i even built my 7 or 8 year old so she can learn i got mine from seedstudio and I am familiar with them from other children and computers I know very satisfied with this product and purchase. There was a review of the touch screen, but it is only a computer board. In general, you need a case, heat sink (may not be needed , but can help against throttling), keyboard, mouse, microhdmi-hdmi cable, HDMI-compatible display or TV, microSD card (8 to 32 GB), and more from a computer with internet access g and a microSD card reader to burn the NOOBS image (or you can buy one)
