Not in love with these files. The first one I took out was already peeling off the paper. But I was just playing with it, so I wasn't too concerned. I used this to file my real nails which were very soft from just removing the acrylic. After I filed 10 nails, the edges deteriorated. I'm definitely concerned about how using a harder product will wear them down. I wouldn't recommend getting them wet in any way, although they say they can be washed. I would be afraid to even spray them with alcohol to disinfect them. But for the price you can't go crazy. There are definitely better files out there.
