Awesome files. 100/180 was great for my nails that are getting long. Once you get used to the style and hold, they become quick and easy. I use an extra fine file for fine work, but if you file very fine you can finish with Makartt files.

files arrived in perfect condition and on time. I bought these for my at home manicure and they did not disappoint. They helped smooth my deep money. I use this file in combination with my e-file to give my manicure a long-lasting shine. Both sides are beneficial, the heavier grit helps me shape the nail tips and the softer grit gets applied to the edges of the nails without irritating the cuticles/fingers.

I originally bought these to use for shaping acrylic and gel nails. They work well for a time but tend to wear out or crack faster than some similar products. I was intrigued to see that they were marked as "washable" but unfortunately they weren't. After several "washes" the sand began to flake off the panel and disintegrate.

You are great. I use gel and acrylic extensions. I wouldn't use these chips on my natural nails but they really are great for shaping and buffing when you just need to get rid of a lot of volume. I'm new to all this so I always have too much product on my nails. Don't worry as long as I have these kids. I can make my voluminously trimmed nails thin and smooth. I have bought this company's products before with no problems so since I powder my nails at home this type of file is a must. I bought the package with full expectation of giving a good review. Unfortunately, these files do not meet my expectations. As with any acrylic or dip nail file, you need to "seat" the edge of the nail file so you don't cut yourself when sanding the edges or around the cuticle. There was a light breeze. Not in love with these files. The first one I took out was already peeling off the paper. But I was just playing with it, so I wasn't too concerned. I used this to file my real nails which were very soft from just removing the acrylic. After I filed 10 nails, the edges deteriorated. I'm definitely concerned about how using a harder product will wear them down. I wouldn't recommend getting them wet in any way, although they say they can be washed.
