Despite tons of oil fondue leftovers where we cooked a lot of meat, it was easy to clean. It was easy, effective and I look forward to using it again. It was easy to regulate the temperature and I made cheese and butter fondue with ease. It was a lot of fun and very easy for those who were nervous about making fondue for the first time. Also note that the finish smells really awful (like burnt rubber) the first time you use it. It was quite unpleasant and smelled very strongly, although surfaces were gently wiped down beforehand to prevent this. The main downside is that I really wish I had bought replacement bowls instead of a brand new pot. If you're serving a three-course meal, you don't need to have multiple teapot warmers. You only need the bowls and you can quickly swap them out for an already hot cooking surface. Now I have to deal with storing a bunch of electrical machines instead of one machine and three bowls. It's also a huge expense for 1-2 meals a year.
