I like not having to check if Sterno is in the house before making fondue. and i really like the pan so far, i just need to get to know the pan better to get the best results now, i have to keep adjusting the temperature otherwise the fondue will be too hot and may become fuzzy.

Bought to reward children on Halloween. I didn't know what to expect but WOW this is awesome! I melted the chocolate and cream on the stove and poured it into a fondue mold. This maintained the ideal temperature with no hot spots. Cleaning was a breeze! The only criticism I could find is that the cable is quite short. We couldn't plug it into the wall and then have it on the kitchen table. Had to use an island which worked for us. Can't wait to try the cheese version.

We got it as a gift and were happy to try it. We followed limited instructions (the entire manual is a sheet of paper) and when we turned it on the heating element started to smoke horribly. It looked like the thermostat knob was about to light up. We ordered a replacement from Revain (which came quickly) and she did the same. Okay. I received this item about an hour ago, unboxed it, washed it and picked up the recipes I found online and got started. The pot is great! You need to keep an eye on the temperature and reduce it from the maximum to the minimum once it reaches the boiling point. Heats up quickly so be prepared with the ingredients.
