Jewel cases are more "thin" cases than the large jewel cases seen in the days when CDs were in their heyday. Thin cases are easily damaged. One of the five boxes I received had a broken hinge: I have a lot of thin boxes, so I used one of these as a spare.* Drives need to be formatted before use.
