For the price this wine opener works well. The foil cutter worked great. The opener itself makes opening a bottle much easier than a manual twist corkscrew, It Truley is effortless. I did have a wine bottle though that always seems to have very difficult corks to remove. the last time I tried I broke the manual twist corkscrew. so I figured this would be the ultimate test for this wine opener. The wine opener did struggle quite a bit and would stop part way through, I would have to just let go of the button and press again and it would creep a little farther. After repeating this process a few times, it did manage to get the cork out. Then simply hitting the release button the cork was easily removed from the opener. So overall it does work and in most cases im sure it could open most bottles fine. But just note if you have difficult bottles it does struggle. But for the price at 10 dollars I think it does well.
