This is a very handy, effective wine opener. Even the foil cutter is great - it is really a snap to use, and it's so effective at removing the foil that I can't remember how I got by without one of these. The ONLY drawback is that I had to dig up 4 AA batteries - not the end of the world. Once the batteries were in, using the opener was fairly intuitive, and opening a wine bottle is a snap compared to using a levered opener. At $9.00 from Ebay, this is a steal. Highly recommended.

For the price this wine opener works well. The foil cutter worked great. The opener itself makes opening a bottle much easier than a manual twist corkscrew, It Truley is effortless. I did have a wine bottle though that always seems to have very difficult corks to remove. the last time I tried I broke the manual twist corkscrew. so I figured this would be the ultimate test for this wine opener. I love this bottle opener! It's super easy to use. You can detach the foil cutter at the bottom of the opener and it slices through foil like butter. Place the bottle opener on top of the bottle, push the button and you don't need to apply pressure. It takes care of the rest. Press the other button and it dislodges the cork for disposal. Super happy to have this!

This wine opener is a bit on the large side, but it does the job well. The foil cutter worked fine, although I had to try a couple of times to use it correctly (needed more force than I expected).The opener did a clean job of removing the cork.just make sure you line it up properly.

This wine bottle opener is working perfectly for us. It removes the cork quickly and then released the cork once you are done. The built-in foil cutter is a nice touch and saves having to find a knife to remove the seal.As expected, it does not include the 4-AA batteries and I am curious to see how long the batteries last. I prefer replaceable batteries to rechargeable batteries that require a charging stand and power cord.I am happy with the product and recommend it.

Our last reachable wine opener finally just stop taking a charge and wouldn't work anymore.the dangers of these kinds of devices that have built in batteries.they will eventually just stop working and not take a charge and you can't change them out.What I like about this one was the fact that it takes regular batteries so all i have to do is swap out the batteries.and its good as newIt works perfectly.it does struggle sometimes with some corks, but it still gets it out fine.
