Perfect for my 2008 RAM 1500 Big Horn Quad Cab with 6 foot bed. It's a little tricky getting smaller screws into the frame, but take your time and wiggle the cord if it gets caught around corners. If you try to force it you risk losing the bolt in the frame and then you don't have to work to get it out again. All in all it took me about 30 minutes to complete the installation. As others have said, removing the spare tire simplifies installation. Depending on the size of your torque wrench, you may not have a choice as there is no more than 2" clearance between the frame and the spare tire (I have 20" rims on my Big Horn). Also note that the bolt that attaches the receiver to the bumper must be torqued to 260 ft/lbs. I already had this tool when I installed the bars on my truck, but you can probably rent one from any of the national auto parts stores.
