This lever works quite well for the price. It's not very tall, so I don't expect it to reveal a large/large monitor when placed behind it. The center joint can also bind if you move both parts of the arm too quickly instead of rotating properly, so you should try to move it more consciously and adjust each part individually if possible. As long as you keep that in mind and only need your main hand to position the camera and don't move it much, it works well enough. If you need a lot of headroom or want something you can move fast with, then you're probably better off spending the extra money on a Rode arm.
