For five years I used a stick I made to support the rear window to save $20. What an idiot. They work very well by opening the back door and the window opens by itself. The shock absorbers are very stiff, brand new and should last for years. The hard top and new windows are being stored for the winter. Buy for $20, they are worth it, stop struggling with the rear window, get rid of the stick and make your life easier, they came very quickly after ordering. Very pleased that they are very easy to put on, you just press on them to take them off, use a flat head screwdriver, pry the little metal clip and they pop off instantly.
