Okay, but one was broken.

I ordered these. They fit my '88 Wrangler perfectly. However, one of them arrived broken. I only found out after installing it. I drove easily, but as I closed the hatch, I heard a tearing sound. Reopened the hatch to find that one of them was broken and would not collapse without significant effort, so didn't collapse when I lowered the hatch but instead ripped the fiberglass around the bracket.

These supports broke my window

Installed these lift brackets on my 87 Wrangler and right after closing the glass after installation the glass broke. There were no cracks or chips in the glass before the new supports were installed. I contacted the seller about this and they did nothing but beat around the bush. They then said that the bolts may have been loosened, which doesn't make sense since no bolts are needed to install the lifting legs. Now I have to pay for a new rear window and a new set of supports because with…

They work very well

For five years I used a stick I made to support the rear window to save $20. What an idiot. They work very well by opening the back door and the window opens by itself. The shock absorbers are very stiff, brand new and should last for years. The hard top and new windows are being stored for the winter. Buy for $20, they are worth it, stop struggling with the rear window, get rid of the stick and make your life easier, they came very quickly after ordering. Very pleased that they are very easy…
