Review on 10 Sets of Retractable Sheath 4mm Banana Plug Connectors: Stackable Wire Solder Multimeter Test Leads with Banana Plug Adapters and Jack Sockets by Jermall Meredith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent contact also with DIC sockets. Built-in wire sheath clamp.

* The tips are quite flexible, with a large number of springy "leaves" and a good relief cut. no problem.* The retractable jacket rides on its own metal spring and easily slides out of the way when inserted into an unshielded or non-standard jack.* The cable entry hole in the connector body is serrated to keep the insulation on the cable. This is where I got confused. I bought several 18AWG silicone covered wires with an overall diameter of 2.3mm to fit into these connectors. Unfortunately, 2.3mm is more suitable for a "hot dog in the hallway". I'm going to order some 14AWG wires with an overall diameter of 3.5mm (which is what the description says) so I can have a nice and working wire. I can leave the 18AWG wire for some of the signal wires, but I'd like rubber grommets to fit it into these connectors. I know the saying. "Free landings sink ships" and so on.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
