I bought this item because I ordered a brand new set of blades for my senior choice 5 stars. I chose a ceramic blade as it should reach better. I installed this blade properly and coated it with blade oil and it was awful. It sounded like a chainsaw, it was literally so loud. My girlfriend was on the opposite side of the apartment in one room and I was in the other room in the bathroom and she literally walked out and said what that noise was because it woke her up. I put in a regular new cutting blade from what I bought and it was as quiet as it should be. The plastic box it came in was decent, the blade looked almost the same size, just the part in the middle is a bit smaller, so maybe the noise is causing pressure or the blade is just dull. I have no idea but don't waste your money or time. I had to make a video so y'all can be here how awful that sounded. I've been ordering from Revain for years and have never taken the time to write a review but felt it necessary.
