If I don't plan on opening the blade, that's fine. I'm assuming it's a misshape, when I fully open the blade my blade stalls. Maybe if I ever plan on making my magic clips just out of hair clippers then that would be fine I guess but I need it for fading. And the teeth didn't feel very sharp.

I bought this item because I ordered a brand new set of blades for my senior choice 5 stars. I chose a ceramic blade as it should reach better. I installed this blade properly and coated it with blade oil and it was awful. It sounded like a chainsaw, it was literally so loud. i still love them! They were easy to replace and my high rollers are quieter after changing blades! They cut beautifully smooth, almost as accurate as my trimmers! I will buy again.

They can be gapless on magic clips if you want, very strong and cut like a dream, cut through voluminous hair like a hot knife through butter if oiled and properly cared for at least once a week. They not ONLY match the magic clamps (wireless) but also the wireless seniors. Well worth the $5 investment if you want tighter cushioning
