I'm not a coffee snob but I consider myself an enthusiast. I really think v60 is better than Kalita Wave, Chemex and Aeropress. Why it's better than Chemex: Chemex filters are huge and expensive. The price of a Chymex filter and the amount of paper used make it a waste of a 6-8 ounce serving. Why it's superior to the Kalita Wave: There are 3 very small holes at the base of the Kalita Wave. As a result, the water drains off very slowly. I had to stand and constantly pulse the water instead of hitting the v60 two or three times. Why is it better than Aeropress: v60 is much easier and faster. Dipping, stirring, turning, pouring and assembling takes time. The V60 takes less time and just pours water on the floor.
