Pros: Overall nice, very quiet and stable. It has a unique light package that brings an interesting element to the room but is also one of its weak points. The fan also came with all the necessary parts and the production was reliable. not very good: the blades are plastic, woody on one side (looks nice) and light brown on the other (don't know why). The color variation is noticeable when the blades aren't moving, making the plastic construction stand out and making it look cheaper than it should. The lamp sockets are surrounded by a non-removable cage, making it difficult to screw in the bulbs. NOTE: Bulbs must be 4 inches or shorter from tip to tip or they won't fit (and you'll say bad words). The remote control is minimalist too, with only 3 fan speeds and no fan reversing (a real problem if you can't get to the motor easily) or light dimmer (lights don't dim at all, even with a pull chain). Luckily, I have experience installing ceiling fans, but beginners will be disappointed by the lack of detailed installation instructions. Overall it's a decent fan and looks nice against our high ceiling, but I'd probably go further with what I know now. Room). it stopped the fan and reminded me why I bought it; this is really a nice fan. I will still miss some features, but it really meets our expectations for a quiet fan with good looks at a reasonable price. Durability, time will tell.
