Well I just installed this system today. Wow how small. I opened the top cover and you can see a small 2.5 inch laptop hard drive inside. speed not sure. I connected power and ethernet and went to alarm.com to add the device. However, it showed up right away but I couldn't add it to my alarm.com account. I had to call ADT to add the service to my plan, which costs $10 more per month! The product description is a bit misleading. It requires a subscription, but if you're already paying for an $8/month subscription (ProVideo) that only gets you 3 cameras and 1,000 downloads, you'll have to spend $10/month. What is stupid! I bought this because I thought
