Grip scope is a really good monoscope for the price. The optics appear to be of high quality, and the wide field of view makes the image less jittery and brighter than the smaller, half price Roxant Mini scope. Finding a target, tracking and keeping it sharp is easier than with the smaller but slightly larger Mini. I can use this with or without glasses, a big plus! I have both and was surprised by the small size of the mini despite reading the description. I'll probably use the grip more for boating, shooting, nature watching, concerts/sports, and keep a mini scope in my car's glove box as a backup. Update: 05/01/2016. Yesterday I tried to use this scope to see hits on targets at a distance of 50 meters in an open field. This scope does not have the magnification needed for detailed images in this area. It's still useful for indoor pistol shooting at 25ft or checking archery results, but if you want to use it for long-range shooting, just go for the more expensive 30-60x scopes that are designed for that purpose became. . It's still a very good compact scope for nature spotting or sightseeing etc and a great addition to any backpack, car or bike bag.
